im so sorry i never got to meet dan. i know many who know him well and they all thought he was a great man. they loved him for: his great sence of humor, his talents as an athlete, and his skills, for he had many...but most of all was the love of such a great friend! we never formally met but i felt like i knew ya.

Since I have not see Dan since our 10 year reunion. I carry great memories of our high school days.  May the angels wrap their wings around the family.

Have not seen Dan since our ten year reunion.  But the memories are from high school and what a wonderful ones they are. Rip Dan, may the angels wrap their wings around your family.

I spent many a day skiing with Dan at Dodge Ridge & daily for an entire year at Bear Valley.... he could really turn the skis. What an athlete he was. Really something to hang out with him, the memories will never be forgotten. May you Rest in peace, Dan!! Blessings to your family.   Barney Aggers

Since elementary school, Danny Ferris was one of my best friends, he even took me to the prom at Downey High School because no one else asked me, he was that kind of wonderful human. I always have and alway will have fond memories of Danny.  Janet Ohanis

Also haven't seen Danny since high school. What I'll most remember isn't his natural skill, it's how hard he worked to build his skills. The summer before our senior year, we were working out (thanks, Steve McPherson!), and Danny was already there, building up the leg strength to make unbelievable cuts (to me anyway) while running full speed. Seeing him work out blew my mind...

lost  a friend of over fifty years.  hard to believe. he was a strong willed man and a hell of an athlete. if he was your friend you had a good one .  I hope he is at peace.  the best to you danny

Haven't seen Danny since high school, But remember him to this day as the Wrestling team hero.

Danny was a out going person, with lots of craftsmen skills.  I know Danny during the 70's and early 80's.  He had a big heart, he was a lot like his dad Charlie.  Went to a lot of Rodeo's together.  Glad to hear that he had a family.

Not only was Danny a super star football player, (Running back?) but he could ski like a pro - fast, furious,  and graceful.  Sending healing thoughts to Danny's family.  Rest in Peace, Danny.

I am so thankful that I got to spend some time with him over  the past year. He was at a good place in his life. He was enjoying his new home on Applehill Dr. and had his own putting green in the back yard. My thoughts are for his family. I am so very sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear this news.  He recently moved into his new home and it was great catching up with him.  He was so proud of his daughter and exercised his bragging rights.  His resting in peace with his family and dear friends.  Tim's death really had an impact.
