

Darleen Marie Foley Mullikin was born in Helena, Montana on April 27, 1934 to Martin Foley and Winifred Grace Foley. A faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ passed away on January 1st, 2024 at her home in Modesto, California.
Darleen was predeceased by her parents Martin Foley and Winifred Grace Foley, her husband William Byron Mullikin, Jr., her son Martin William Mullikin, and her sister Kathleen Manausa.
She leaves behind her daughter Susan Laha (David), daughter Marcia Perine (Charles), daughter Maureen Mead (Greg), daughter-in-law Lynn Mullikin, 13 grandchildren Justin Mullikin (Holly), Ashley Mullikin (Zack Carlson), Darryl Mullikin (Alexandra), Adam Gunn (Eureka), Joel Gunn (Ann), Amy Laha, Matthew Laha, Jamie Helton (Josh), Julie Myatt (Michael Ungerbuhler), Michelle Perine (Dwight Lerno), Sara Hass (Matthew), Tanner Mead and Chloe Mead, 13 great grandchildren Olivia, Allison, Emily, Michael, Vincent, Kieran, Amara, Jacob, Ethan, Emmalee, Maylee, Adilynn and Coulter and 2 great-great grandchildren Skylynn and Hayden.
Darleen loved sewing, dancing, traveling, camping, and she maintained lifelong friendships, getting together frequently with the ladies from her Bay Area sewing club, the Hayward City Fire Department folks, the Ceres Twisters and she also loved to work beside her husband Bill on their almond ranch in Hickman.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Hughson, Ca, and a member of Antionette #193 Young Ladies Institute of Hughson and Ceres.
Darleen moved with her family from Montana to California in 1948. After living in the Bay Area, Darleen and Bill moved to Hickman in 1974. After her husband's passing, she moved to Modesto where she lived for the remainder of her life.
Mother loved the Lord Jesus Christ, her family, her life and her friends. She was kind and generous. She will be missed.
A visitation and funeral service will be held for Darleen on Saturday, January 20th. The visitation will take place starting at 11:00AM in the Heritage Chapel, with a rosary held at 1:00PM. The graveside service will follow immediately after the rosary and will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park.
