David Clyde King Jr.

David was a vibrant and adventurous young man who found joy in many hobbies and interests. He was a devoted fan of the San Francisco Giants and loved spending time playing paintball, cooking, and enjoying video games and music. He had a passion for poker, baseball, Pokémon, and Fortnite. David enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and camping, as well as shooting sports, riding dirt bikes and quads, and woodworking alongside his dad. Growing up, he played Little League baseball and created lasting memories on the field. He had a deep passion for baseball, starting in his youth with Little League and continuing this season with the Belpassi A’s. His dream was to play Major League Baseball.

David was an 8th-grade student at Turlock Christian School. He also cherished time spent playing pool and darts with his great-grandfather and baking with Grandma Louise.

He is survived by his loving mother, Marjorie King; his sisters, Katie Campusano and Kaylee King; his grandparents, Deana Elaine Taylor and John and Louise King; his great-grandfather, John Dutra; his grandaunt, Marjory Small; his uncles and aunts, Brad and Michelle Gentrup, John and Nancy King, Evelyn and Bob Stanley, Carl and Cheryl Mumford, and Navy and Celinda Nesbit; his best friend, Tannon Hamilton; his nephew, Elias Poma; as well as many cousins, extended family members, and his entire village who loved him deeply.

David was preceded in death by his father, David C. King Sr.; his sister, Cheyenne Grace; his aunts, Betty Jo Hixon and Cynthia Resendiz; his uncles, Tim Resendiz, Leonard Dutra, and Sherwin Small; and his grandfather, Charles F. Taylor.

David’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Service Details:

Visitation will be held on May 8, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., both at Monte Vista Chapel, 1619 E. Monte Vista Ave, Turlock, CA 95382.

A committal service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA, in the Sky View Garden.
