JUN 28, 1968 - FEB 27, 2011
Debbie was a remarkable woman who overcame a number of
obstacles in her life. Her passing was sudden and unexpected
to everyone except her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for whom
Debbie had and unquenchable passion and love.
Debbie was the kind of person you could never forget; she made
an indelible impression on anyone with whom she came into
contact. Because of her own struggles, Debbie gave back to her
community in huge ways. She volunteered her time at the Modesto
Gospel Mission. She was also a volunteer mentor at Juvenile Hall.
She worked for a season at the Salvation Army. Her heart went
out to those whose choices brought them pain and regret: the less
fortunate, downtrodden, confused, and lost--as she once was.
Debbie never forgot those who helped her to get her life back on track.
She was grateful to them, and to God. No one who knew her will ever
forget her infectious smile, her easy laugh, and her great sense of humor.
She lived life to the fullest--with passion and meaning--always looking for
ways to serve her God and serve others. She loved her family and friends,
who meant the world to her.
She leaves behind her husband Thomas Lovett, her three daughters,
Leslie, Sierra, and Theresa, her brother, Steven, her sister, Stephanie,
her mother, Bonnie, and numerous friends.
Debbie will be greatly missed. She left a legacy of a person whose life
really mattered; she left a deep impression on us all. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
Goodbye, Debbie, we will see you on the other side.
