Deloris Ann Kitchens, better known as “Pam”, passed from this life on July 27th, 2022 in Springdale, Arkansas. Pam was born on June 6, 1953 to Dairl “Bud” and Elsie Hunnicutt Kitchens in Modesto, California.
Pam lived most of her life with her parents in Riverbank, California. After her parents passed, she moved to Arkansas to live with her aunt and uncle, Jerry and Sarah Jo Parker, where she resided for the last 12 years of her life.
The list of things Pam enjoyed doing over the course of her life is a long one, but to name just a few: Hula hooping, playing with her Barbies, dancing and listening to her records, watching tv, shopping and especially eating ice cream! She was also an animal lover of all kinds but most especially dogs.
Pam is survived by her Aunt Jo, nephews Dairl Kitchens and Harold Kitchens, sister-in-law Polly Kitchens, and her aunts and uncles: Gaylon and Dorothy Kitchens, Margaret James, Priscilla Kitchens, Delmas Hunnicutt and Alvis Hunnicutt. As well as her California babysitter “Aunt Georgia” Parker and a whole lot of cousins, friends and neighbors who thought the world of her.
In addition to her parents, Bud and Elsie, and her Uncle Jerry, Pam was proceeded in death by her brother Dairl “Pete” Kitchens Jr, niece Cyndell Dambachnerher, nephew Ronnie Kitchens and grandparents Lewis & Bertha Kitchens and C.E. & Lulu Hunnicutt.
Interment will be at Lakewood Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Hughson, California where she will be laid to rest with her parents. There is a memorial service being planned for when cooler weather returns in Gravelly, Arkansas.
