Donna M. Allen Sinclear

ALLEN SINCLEAR

February 20, 1926 - April 2, 2011

Donna Mae Sinclear, of Modesto, CA., passed away on April 2, 2011 at the

Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. She was 85. Donna was born in

Jackson, Minnesota, the youngest of 5 children. When she was 7 her family moved

to California. She grew up in Waterford and attended Oakdale High School. She

married her high school sweetheart, Glenn Sinclear in 1947. She lived in the family

home on Orangeburg Ave. for 57 years, raising a family and contributing to her

community.

Donna proudly worked for the Ag Extension Dept. of the Stanislaus County as the

4-H secretary for 9 years. Donna had a generous and loving spirit and was a devoted

daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by

all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Sinclear; mother and father,

Harry M. and Goldie Allen; brothers, Milton Allen and Milo Allen; sister Harriet De

Vere and grandson Jesse Moore.

Donna is survived by her sister, Helen (Charlie) Williams; children, David (Linda)

Sinclear of Orland, CA., Patricia (Rick) Jones of Modesto, CA. and Roger Sinclear

of Grass Valley, CA; 6 grandchildren, Jon (Robin) Sinclear, Joelynn Sinclear, Justin

Jones, Nicole (Chris) Couto, Alex Sinclear and Madison Sinclear; 6 great grand

children, Kyle, Ryan, Natalie, Taylor, Katelynn and Cameron.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood

Funeral Home in Hughson, CA. with burial to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations

can be made in her name to Alexander Cohen Hospice House, 4368 Spyres Way,

Modesto, CA. 95356 or to the Stanislaus County 4-H Camp Scholarship Fund,

3800 Cornucopia Way, Suite A, Modesto, CA 95358.
