Dorothy was a women that loved God in everything she did.  She seemed to have the right things to say at such the right time. I remember going out to see the ladies group making there quilts and having lunch together, always going away, encouraged. Cori and I were so happy when we where given one of there hand made quilts as a wedding gift, some twenty years ago. Still have to this day. We will never forget you but know we will see you again.

We'll miss you Aunt Dorothy!  We'll always remember your lively spirit and sense of humor.  Love and prayers to all,  The Neil Family,  Texas

Dorothy's love for the Lord and the way she served Him with all her heart has greatly impacted my life. She had a heart for the poor and devoted her life to serving them through her quilting. I remember a time when it was storming outside and she got barely any sleep concerned about those who were cold. Her heart was to give.. her quilts were just one of many ways she did that. Ultimately, they were a tool used to share the love of Jesus. I will miss you dear friend.. we'll be together again someday very soon.

To the family of one of my dearest friends ever.  If you don't mind I would like to replace Brandi's "Grandma" with "Dear Friend" ...because her words are SO beautiful and so descriptive of who Dorothy was.  My heart aches for our loss, but rejoices at her "homegoing".  God Bless you all.

Dorothy always let he light shine,The lord was always present in her life. Her daughter Jackie was a life long friend of my sister Barbara and mine. We had lots of great food and many visits at her home. I was prevlaged to have a quilt. She will be missed, May God give her family peace knowing she is in Heaven.
