Douglas was born Sept. 27, 1965 in Modesto, CA, and passed unexpectedly at the age of 49 on June 4, 2015 while in Lafayette, IN. He was a caring, loving, and kind son, father, brother, and uncle. He was a 1983 graduate of Beyer High School. He lived in Indiana about 15 years before returning to California in 2006. While in Indiana, Doug served his community as a volunteer Fireman and served as Captain. He was also an EMT. He worked as a machinist and also was a machinist in California. Doug was outgoing and never met a stranger. He is survived by his parents, Cleo and Lovell Luke; son Timothy Luke of Indiana; sister, Denise Lowey (Chris) and nephews, Patrick, Michael & niece Jillian Lowey. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.He was past commander of the Navy Sea Cadets Modesto Division and a member of The Sons of The American Legion.
