On July 20, 2016 Gene went to be with the Lord. He was born in Patterson, California on February 6, 1936 to Harold and Zida Johnson. He graduated from Oakdale Joint Union High School in 1954 and then joined the Armed Forces. He served in the Army National Guard and also in the Air Force as a Personnel Clerk. He received a Good Conduct Medal and an Honorable Discharge for his service.
After his time in the military, Gene had a long career at Knudsen Dairy Products where he became a member of the Teamsters Union. He retired from Knudsen when they closed in 1986. He lived out his days in Turlock, California. Gene will be missed by his many friends and family members.
