Esperanza was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and strong faith. She loved cooking and baking and enjoyed bringing family and friends together. She also loved to sing and dance, and her joyful personality brought happiness to everyone around her.
A faithful member of St. Jude's Parish, Esperanza volunteered as a catechist teacher for more than ten years. She enjoyed sharing her faith and helping guide young people in their spiritual journey. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication touched many lives.
Esperanza is survived by her loving husband, Moises Magana; her daughters, Elizabeth Alvarez and her husband, Erik, and Karina Paredes and her husband, Bruno; and her beloved grandchildren, Damian Alvarez and Mia Alvarez. She also leaves behind many family members, friends, and members of her church community who will miss her dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres, California.
Esperanza will always be remembered for her love, faith, and the joy she shared with everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
