Gail Ann Fisher

Gail passed away on March 20, 2014 at age 62 after an extended, brave battle with cancer. She was born in Modesto, California on July 14, 1951 to Kenneth and Jean Skaggs and grew up in the Modesto area. She married at age 18 and bore a son, Adam Fisher, who she raised as a single mother.

Her adventurous spirit led her to the Chicago area 13 years ago where she continued her lifelong career of managing restaurants. She developed many close and treasured friends in Illinois, but returned home to Modesto in March of 2014 to be with family and loved ones. She passed away peacefully at the Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson with family at her side. Gail will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

She is survived by her son Adam Fisher, daughter in law Marla Fisher and step granddaughter Cheyanne Rash all of Modesto, father Kenneth Skaggs of Modesto, brother Keith Skaggs of Cocoa, Florida, and sister Nancy Volk of Modesto.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th at 10 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home Heritage Chapel, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson.
