Gary Gene Spurlin

Born and raised in Turlock CA. Volunteered at 17 to serve in US Armed Forces in the Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He acquired his Master Degree at UOP and went on to work at San Quentin State Prison Stanislaus Sheriff Department, and later was a Director of Facilities in the hospital industry in Las Vegas, NV for 15 years.

Gary is survived by his wife, Miko Spurlin of Stockton, CA., son, Zackary Spurlin of Stockton, CA., daughter, Christina Spurlin of Manteca, CA., and son, Nathan Spurlin of Turlock, CA., grandchildren: Clorissa Troche of Stockton, CA., Kristen Spurlin of Livermore, CA., ParkerSpurlin of Stockton, CA., and Warren McGovern of Manteca, CA., step-mother, Juanita Spurlin of Turlock CA., best friend and minister, Harry Griffin and dearest friends, Ray and Lori Brown of Hardeeville, SC.

Funeral services will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, viewing is on Friday, Jan. 9th from 4-8:00pm.

A Graveside Service is on Saturday, Jan. 10th at 10:00am.
