George Douglas Baker

June 5, 1953 - August 7, 2014

Doug will be missed by so many. He leaves behind his wife of almost 39 years Debi, his son Josh and daughter Kassi, his mother Sandra, father George, sisters Debbie and Tammi and brother and sister in laws Lanny, Jeff and Sue (Heather). God children Aeden, Adrian and Jasper, many aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and "adopted" grandchildren.

Doug graduated from Franklin High School in Stockton, UC Davis and Modesto Junior College Nursing school. He loved coaching and spent many years doing so with the Ceres Cowboys, Ceres Youth Basketball (Virgina Parks Pacers), Ceres Youth Baseball, Ceres High Volleyball, Softball and along with Kassi many years with the Ceres High School Women Basketball program. Before he was put on medical leave, Doug worked as an RN at Doctors Behavioral Health Center.

In lieu of flowers, Doug would like donations sent in his name (write his name in the memo section) to the Ceres High Scholarship Trust Fund, PO Box 307, Ceres, CA 95307.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe, Hughson, CA.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
