Grace May Olds October 10, 1914 - August 20, 2016 Family life: Grace was born to parents Edwin and Phoebe Parshall in Bridger, Montana. She moved to California to be near family at 18 years of age. She soon met Woodrow Olds Sr. who told his mother after meeting her, "I'm going to marry that girl". They were married almost 50 years; until Woodrow passed away. They had 2 children; Patricia and Woodrow Jr. (Jim). Grace and Woodrow enjoyed spending time with a large extended family. They went camping, fishing, played cards and had lots of family get-togethers. Employment: Grace worked at the Modesto and Stockton State Hospitals. She told Woodrow she would work long enough to buy a new sewing machine. But she found she liked the job and the extra money and retired after working 25 years. Remembered for: She will be remembered for many things. She became a Christian in her 30's and quietly lived out her faith and love for God throughout her life. She loved her family and showed them in special ways; sewing, crocheting and embroidering gifts for them, making angel food birthday cakes and helping them in any way she could. She was always there with a listening ear and caring heart. She was a strong woman, a hard worker and few could keep up with her. She was a treasure to her family and will be deeply missed. Preceded in death: Grace was preceded in death by husband, Woodrow Olds Sr. and son, Woodrow (Jim) Olds Jr. Leaves behind: She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Patricia Arbizu (Ralph), grandchildren; Cindy Fulton (George), Patti Olds, Eddie Olds, Frank Duckart (Sandy), Rick Duckart (Beth), Jon Duckart (Kelly) and Julie Baltisberger (Jay), sisters; Beth Green, Carmen Groves, brothers; Cecil Parshall, John Parshall, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
