Hector E. Santamaria was born on November 17, 1929, in Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. He passed away peacefully on October 22nd, at the age of 82. He lived in Stanislaus County for over 36 years, where he retired from managing his upholstery business for 34 years. Hector was an inspiration to his family and friends. May his never ending optomism and perpetual kindness continue to guide his wife Bertha Santamaria; his 5 children Laura Santamaria, Elizabeth Santamaria, Daniel Santamaria, Maribel Lopez and Hector Santamaria Jr.; his 11 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held Monday, October 29th from 4-8pm with a Rosary at 6pm at Lakewood Funeral Home (Riverside Chapel), 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, CA. Funeral services will commence at 10 am on Tuesday, October 30th at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J Street, Modesto, CA. Burial and reception to follow at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
