She had four sons with Archie Lee Jackson Jr., Dana Lee Jackson, Dennis Ray Jackson, Glenn Rickey Jackson, and Bruce Jerome Jackson.
Helen was married at the age of 16, young even for that time in history, during her short time with us she was privileged to be abler to listened the historic reports of the attack on pearl Harbor, as well as read about the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, later while we were young she and my father lived through Sputnik, The bay of pigs, the Berlin air lift, the Cuban missile crisis, the Korean War, the Vietnam war, breaking of the sound barrier, the first men in space, the moon landings, the Space Shuttle, the Space Station, and like many of her generation, and ours are still awaiting those supposed flying cars.
Helen was a member of Amaranth, and Eastern Star, and a Bowling League. She raised four boys through the 50’s 60’s and 70’s, During which time she was a member of their P.T.A.’s she helped with her kids The Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Webelo’s, and Eagle Scouts, as well as Music lessons for Dennis and Dana Jackson. She raised her children to question everything, and not to take anything at face value. She read to them nightly, helped them with their homework and when it was something beyond her she would seek tutors in that subject to help her. She died on November 16, 2018, in Stockton, California, at the age of 86.
But most importantly she was the center of our family especially after our father and eldest brother passed away in 1999.
