Rip Dennis!!! As solid of a guy as they come. It was a pleasure working with you and to call you a friend. My thoughts and prayers to your children and the rest of your family.

Dennis I will miss you so much. Thank you for being my friend all these years. May you rest in peace in God’s hands.

I am Dennis's Aunt , I have fond memories of babysitting  Dennis when he was younger for my sister Virginia.  I remember taking him down to jack's barbershop in Empire to get his hair cut pulling him in a little red wagon, we would laugh all the way home.  He was such a good little boy and grew up to be a fine young man and father, Dennis will be missed by many but i am sure he is up there in heaven with his mom and dad and all those hes known go before him..until we meet again.

Corey, Mitchell, Nancy and Leanna I'm sorry to hear that Dennis has passed away. I've got some good memories of Dennis and i along with the rest of the Howard family from the time of when we all were just little kids when your dad Dencil and my dad Buster Oliphint were always doing something together whether it was working on a car or we just came to Empire to visit your Mom and dad. Dennis and I would always find something to do and have a great time doing whatever we were doing. I had told Dennis a few times that the Howard family was like my sister and I family and we were treated like family. My sister and I both have said that Dencil and Virginia were like our Aunt and Uncle and Dennis, Nancy and Leanne were like our cousins. Our condolences go out to the Howard family Dennis will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Dennis. Until We Meet Again.
