Jim, "Sparky", was born in Clovis, New Mexico and lived most his life in Modesto, Ca. Sparky owned his own business, Wilcox Electric. He loved spending his time helping others with anything they needed! Jim loved backyard farming, fishing on his boat, building bird houses & feeders because he truly was a master craftsman! Spending time with his grandsons Dustin & Tyler whom he called his "best buddies" brought him so much joy.
Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Wilcox and brothers Robert & Leonard Wilcox.
Jim leaves behind 3 children Eddie Wilcox Sr. (wife Kori), Cindy Duncan (husband Kirk) and James Wilcox Jr. (wife, Lori): 8 Grandchildren Kayla Clark, (husband, Anthony) Katlyn Griggs, (husband Daniel) Eddie Wilcox Jr., Courtnie Betancourt, (husband Dominick ) Dustin Palecek, (wife Brooke) Tyler Palecek, (wife Esmeralda) James & Isaiah Wilcox and 12 Great-Grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on March 21st 4pm-8pm, Services will be held March 22nd at 10:00am in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
