Janice Boyd

Janice passed away peacefully in Modesto, Ca. after a brief illness on August 18, 2015. She was born to Vernon and Neva Parker in Modesto, Ca. on October 5, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Terry Boyd, her sister, Cloma Kelly and her niece, Jeanette Rector. She is survived by her 3 children: Pamala Boyd, Gregg Boyd and Brian (Lisa) Boyd all of Modesto, Ca., grandchildren, Christopher (Eileen) Boyd of South Korea and Brittany Boyd of Modesto, Ca., 2 sisters, Darlene Parker of Modesto and Glenda Gonzales of Auburn, Ca. She also leaves behind numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Janice was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. One of her biggest joys was found in spending time with her family and cooking special meals for them. She touched many hearts with her understanding and generous spirit. God has blessed us with someone as loving and kind as Janice has been. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew and loved her.

In celebration of Janice’s life, a Graveside Service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave. Hughson, Ca. on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00am in the Tuolumne Garden.
