Jeanette Marie Jackson

Jeanette Jackson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away leaving behind a beautiful legacy of love, family, and cherished memories.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Danny Jackson. Together, they built a life centered around their family and created countless memories that will remain treasured by those who knew and loved them.

She is survived by her four children, Ray (Mimi), Cindy (Tag), Jan, and Richard (Sharman); six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and pride.

Family was always Jeanette’s number one priority. She had a special gift for making each of her children feel as though they were her favorite. She treasured family gatherings and the simple happiness of having everyone together. Her love extended through every generation of her family, and nothing made her happier than being surrounded by the people she loved.

Jeanette worked in Food Services with Modesto City Schools for approximately 20 years. She took pride in her work and in being part of the school community.

When she wasn’t working, Jeanette loved making memories with her family. Weekends often meant camping, traveling, and enjoying adventures in their motorhome. Those trips and family gatherings created memories that her loved ones will treasure for years to come.

After Danny’s passing, Jeanette found another great love and faithful companion in her beloved golden doodle, Buddy. For 16 wonderful years, Jeanette and Buddy shared a special bond and a good life together. Buddy remained by her side until his passing in 2024.

Jeanette’s greatest joy was her family. She loved deeply, gave generously, and made everyone around her feel important and loved. Her warmth, kindness, humor, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though her family will miss her dearly, Jeanette’s love will live through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many memories she created with them. Her legacy is the family she loved so completely and the countless lives she had touched along the way.

Jeanette will be forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed.
