Joan McClellan died on September 27, 2011 in Modesto, CA. She was the daughter of Dick & Edna Halderman. Joan worked many years as a ward clerk at Glendale Adventist, Glendale, CA. She attended Metropolitan College, Denver, CO and a state college in Los Angeles. Joan was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling, especially Europe.
Joan is survived by her son Mark Stanton, daughter Diane & Dan Williamson, grandsons Brian & Jennifer Pomeroy and Todd Stanton, great-granddaughter Elisia Pomeroy, sister Florence Coleman and brother Lyman & Claire Halderman. She was predeceased in death by her son Denis Stanton, her parents, sisters Jessie Malone, Eva Forrest and brother Stanley Halderman.
