Jona "Joni" Louise Foster

Jona (Joni) DeLash Foster May 18, 1950 September 21, 2016 Joni DeLash Foster passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 after a brief illness. Joni, a long time resident of Modesto, was born to Belse DeLash and Louise Petrucelli DeLash on May 18, 1950 in Modesto. She grew up in Patterson, CA and was an active member of the Class of 1968. After high school she attended Fresno State College and returned to Modesto to marry her husband of 45 years, Bill Foster.

She worked at the American Boy Scouts until her children were born. After being a full time mother and active in parent groups she returned to work at Med Tech Billing Service in Modesto where she has been employed for over 25 years.

Joni is survived by her husband Bill, children James Foster of Modesto, and Stacey Parks of Harrisburgh, PA. She is also survived by her brother David (Elaine) DeLash of Patterson and sister Carol McKenzie of Modesto. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at 11:00 am at Lakewood Memorial Park at 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA 95326.
