Whazz up doot,

It's been 2 years since I haven't heard your voice... I go to visit you where you were put down to rest, but it's not the same.  There are a lot of things going on in my life right now that I would like to talk to you about...  I seen/talked to Luwe and Seabass during the Thanksgiving holiday, they are doing very well and you would be very proud of them.  Beatriz looks like she's doing ok, I also want you to know I help her out as much as possible too.  Last Saturday I went to go watch Central Valley wrestle at a Turlock High school tournament.  All the kids are getting taller and growing up, some of the kids are already in College. (Can you believe that)?  Well Jorge I'll let you go for now,

It brings me to tears knowing you left this world so early, God must of needed another guardian angel. Words can’t express how much I miss you and could’ve hugged you for one last time. I would’ve held you real tight had I known that would’ve been the last time I got to hug you. I know you’re in a better place, but I really wish Heaven had a phone just so I could hear your voice one more time. 5 months have passed by and it still hurts me like if happened yesterday. I ask that you watch over our family, and guide us with your spirits. I know this is not good but because I know we will see each other again. I love you with all my heart. See you soon. <3


Hello Jorge,
I don't know why some people are taken early and some are taken late... 
All I know is that I got the pleasure to meet you and your family 👪.  You had the biggest heart ❤ in the world and would do just about anything for people... We spent a lot of time together going to wrestling tournaments, Pizza, movies 🎥, amusement parks, (We even talked about going to Hawaii). I want to say  you for exhausting your time with the kids.. (They will never forget the time you spent with them) Time is the most important thing you can give to anyone, more than money... (Thanks for spending time with me and my family Jorge)... Jorge was a hard working man and would do anything for his family 👪.  He was the kinda man where the cliche (Family first) comes from. Jorge, we have 13 years of difference between us, but we came from the same area. We were more a-less natives of the same area from a different tribe... Thank you for donating your time to our community by coaching many sports. When I go to your home now there is a big piece missing dude... For a while there, I thought we were going to be Compadres (Family). Luwe (Luis) and Claudia spent a lot of time together. We will always be a family Compadre. One last thing I want to say is, but I don't want you to get the wrong idea...(I love you and miss you)...

Forever you will be miss dad I love you so much you have taught me so much and made me the young man I am today wish you were here to see me grow but I know you are with me always 

I remember back in 2011 my son Gregory had a wrestling meet and I took him because my husband Greg was working that weekend. I must have been either 5 or 6 months pregnant, and I was irritable, especially when I had to wake up early. Anyway Gregory was getting weighed in and back then I didn’t realize how serious weigh ins were. But I wanted to weigh myself to see if I was making pregnancy weight.... and please keep in mind I had never been to a weigh in. I asked how accurate the scales were. Omg you could hear a pin drop. And one of the coaches at the site got all huffy with me asking why I was asking and I told him because I need to know if I’m making pregnancy weight. All the men laughed I weighed myself and was very happy. Afterwards we went to Denny’s with the rest of the team. Jorge ( bless him for all the times he tolerated me) at that time he didn’t know me at all and asked me why I would ask about the scales being accurate and he was massaging his forehead. And I told him. I need to know if I’m making pregnancy weight. That poor man must have had a headache from me that day, and there I was blinking at him and telling him I need to know if my pregnancy weight is accurate 🤦🏽‍♀️.  

Jorge always had the kids best interest in mind. Tough love at its best, and I hope he understood how a big impact his words had on them. My two kids will always cherish the time he coached them. Modesto wrestling academy, Ceres hawks to Mo-Hi Panthers coach Jorge was a good guy. Thank you for the memories. R.I.P

I had so many memories with my best friend from High School, we did some crazy things together. We share many  adventures,  life send us in deafferent paths but when I remember my youth you always come to mind. You left too soon my friend  I will miss you till we see each other again, God bless your family.

Coach Jorge , I will forever miss you . Thank you for introducing me to the sport of wrestling. It has been an honor to wrestle for you for 6 years in the ceres hawks program and for the high school at Central Valley.  Without meeting you I believe I would not have continue to wrestle if it wasn't for you.  You have always been there for my important matches that were very memorable to me and I am happy that I was able to share those precious moments with you and my father.  Knowing that you and my father were in my corner , made me feels good inside.  I will watch over the past wrestling video of my matches of you coaching me  because you were the one who ave me that spark to wrestle.  When I have my own wrestling team I want to be able coach like you and impact the other wrestles like how you impacted me.  Thank you for all that you have done Coach Jorge . I will continue to spread your coaching legacy.

Oh, how I’ll miss my friend, Jorge!  

I always looked forward to seeing him at whatever wrestling event we were all at.  My family and I were happy to be around him and always wanted to extend the time by hanging out talking or over pizza.  

I have always been grateful and impressed for how talented he was at making people feel comfortable quickly- this was awesome for new wrestlers and new families.  It was so him to put up a rough and tough front, but this guy had a heart of gold.

A few of my favorite memories of Jorge are how he’d grab the Where’s Waldo book that I’d brought to tournaments for the kids and get busy searching for that red and white striped sweater, get down playing Clash of Clans with my boys, how he loved to hold babies and just how fun he always was.  

He was a true friend that listened to issues I was having at work or with my kiddos, then offered real, honest advice and guidance.  He challenged me and my thinking, which earned my trust and loyalty.  I respected him and his dedication to his family and the kids that he coached.  I loved him for the kindness and support that he showed my boys, my husband and me.  He has been a pivotal person in all of our lives.  I’m thankful that Jorge and his family have been in our lives, and I’m so sorry for the loss of this awesome guy.

You have always been one of our favorite wrestling coaches. You started coaching Trinity when she was just a kid at 8 years old. Your commitment and dedication to the sport has had such an impact on her and for so many others. You will forever be in our hearts and you will be greatly missed. 



Jorge and I became friends in 1984 during summer school. We were quite a pair of trouble makers most of our lives until he moved to southern California. After that we lost touch. We were such good friends that our parents became friends because of us.
