Josephine Mary Johnson, 93, passed away peacefully in her bed at home on September 16, 2026.
Josephine lived a long and meaningful life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver, and a woman of deep faith. She worked at Campbell’s Soup for more than 25 years, dedicating a significant part of her life to her work and family.
Josephine was a woman who enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening, and, sometimes, baking. She enjoyed knowing what the weather was doing and cared deeply about her home and surroundings. She had a natural way of taking care of the things and people around her.
Later in life, Josephine became involved with several charities and continued her devotion to her faith and her work of caring for others. She had a giving spirit that remained with her throughout her life.
Josephine was married and, over the years, outlived her husband and many of her peers. She leaves behind her children and grandchildren, who will carry her memory and the many things she gave to their lives.
Josephine will be missed—not only for the years she lived, but for the quiet ways she cared, the life she built, and the people she touched along the way.
She lived 93 years, and on September 16, she peacefully went home.
