Katherine Laquetta Gillum passed gently into the night on April 28, 2026 at the age of 81. She was born on July 2, 1944 to Forest and Willie Carnes, the youngest of 3 children, her brother Buzz Carnes and sister Anna Lou Carnes. She was a resident of Modesto, California.
There will be a graveside service held at Lakewood Memorial Park May 11, 2026 where she will join her husband James for eternity.
