

Kelvin was born on August 30, 1958, in California to Pat and Lela Cannon. He grew up in Sunnyvale, California, alongside his brother, Derrell, and his sister, Janet. Kelvin attended Sunnyvale High School, where he graduated in 1976.
Kelvin worked as a machinist throughout his entire career. He was employed at Stosur Industries, followed by Tri-Valley Growers, and later at Gallo, where he dedicated many years of service.
Kelvin was actively involved in old car clubs and had a lifelong passion for classic automobiles. He especially took pride in owning and restoring his 1938 Plymouth Coupe and his 1956 Chevrolet.
Kelvin was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Lela Cannon, and by his sister, Janet Webb.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Marcie McWilliams; his brother, Derrell Cannon; his daughter, Kiely Swenson; his grandson, Julian Alexander Carrasco; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service honoring Kelvin’s life will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., and a graveside service thereafter.
The family asks that anyone who wishes to honor Kelvin’s memory bring their old hot rod in loving remembrance of him.
