

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 59 years Anne. She was never far from his thoughts.
Leroy spent many years hanging drywall to build homes. He loved to play golf and travel with his family to favorite spots such as Monterey Bay California.
In 1989 Leroy pitched in the National Championship for the Serpa’s ARCO Class C Men’s Softball team. In that tournament he won four games including a no-hitter, and had two saves helping his team win the championship. This performance not only won him the MVP award, but also earned him an induction into the Stockton Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017.
He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Miano (Perry), and Mandy Clevenger; two granddaughters Laura Bates (Sean), and Kayla Miano; one grandson Michael Miano; and two great granddaughters Lily Wery and Ellie Bates.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326, US, on June 11, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am followed by a Funeral Service at Lakewood Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326, US, on June 11,2026 from 11:00 to 11:30 am
