Kevin Swett

Kevin was born in Woodland, California where his parents, Don and Joyce Swett, were pastoring the Foursquare Church. When the family relocated to Sacramento due to a pastorate change, he spent the rest of his formative years there. He attended Valley High School in Sacramento, obtaining his GED in 1983.

His work experience included the sugar mill, Gallo Glass, Walmart and completed pharmacist assistant certification.

He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a devoted Green Bay Packers, Batman, Marvel, Avengers, and Star Wars fan. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, and thrill rides at amusement parks.

Kevin was known for his welcoming personality, warm smile, and faithful attendance at church. As his health created growing challenges he still insisted on being in church each week to worship the Lord and learn from God’s Word. Kevin was active in his church and served as a deacon and usher for many years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret, children (Randy, Sarah, Holly & husband Sanasar, Art & wife Amy, Rebekkah, Chloe & fiancé Dilan, grandchildren (Leo, Jamy, Jayden, Emma, Aubrey, Jeffrey, Ella, Carlin, Steven & Brianna) and siblings Karen, Ken & wife Wanda, Kyle, and Bryan Tsunoda. He also had numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Revs. Don & Joyce Swett and his granddaughter Isabella Petrosyan.

A memorial service will be held at Modesto Foursquare Church (510 Burney Street, Modesto, CA) on Saturday, October 11, at 11:00 a.m. The service will be live streamed and can be viewed on Modesto Foursquare Facebook page. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate his life and share memories. Reception to follow.
