Leo Schlenker was born to Vinzent and Angela Schlenker in Bryant, South Dakota on June 29, 1927. He was the 10th of 18 children. He entered into rest at home on Sept. 28th, 2015 surrounded by his family. He will be remembered for the way he loved his family, for his love of the Catholic faith, and his wonderful baking skills.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Lolita, and three children: Norman (Rosie) Schlenker, Francine (John) English, and Angela (Dan) Lucca, and 16 grandchildren.
A visitation and Vigil will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, Ca. on Sunday, Oct. 4th 2015 from 12-5pm (reading of the Rosary at 3:00pm.) Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 505 W. Granger Ave., Modesto, Ca. on Monday, Oct. 5th at 10:00am.
