Linda Boyer, age 78 of Modesto, CA passed away on October 5, 2025, surrounded by love. Formerly of Fresno, CA, Linda had a great love for travel and her family - including her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Linda is survived by her daughter Jerilyn Riley, grandson Trevor Nash, granddaughter Madison Nash, three siblings Marcia Wingert (Gary), Mark Shelton, and Edie Westerman (John), many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, wonderful friends and her former partner of over 20 years Jim Rodriquez. Linda is preceded in death by her father Verlie Shelton, her mother Betty Scofield, and her sister-in-law Robin Shelton. Linda will forever be missed. A graveside service for Linda will be occurring at 11:00 am on Friday, October 10 at Lakewood Funeral Home, and Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA, 95326.
