Lois Perry was born on September 14, 1933 in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. She was 91 years old when she went to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025. Lois grew up on the family farm in beautiful northern Idaho. As a young girl she wanted to be a nurse and accomplished that goal, graduating from nurses training in 1955.
Lois met her husband, Donald Perry, on a blind date. They were married for 68 years. She was a wonderful mother to Janet DeBoer (Brad), John Perry (Carol), Joann Perry, and Jim Perry (Tammy) She loved her 7 grandchildren, Peter, Doug, Greg, Kayla, Erica, Christopher, and Amanda, as well as her 8 great grandchildren Bradley, Henry, Tristan, Ada, Wendy, Reagan, Audrey, and Amber.
Lois worked as a registered nurse specializing in geriatrics and volunteered for the American Heart Assoc., Christian Berets, and Community Hospice. She was a member of Sovereign Grace Community Church in Hughson. Her family brought her great joy. Some of the things she is remembered for are delicious fried chicken, gravy, pies, and cookies, talking on the phone, humor, and quick wit.
Graveside service to be held at Lakewood Memorial Park & Funeral Home 900 Santa Fe Ave Hughson on Wednesday, February 26 at 2 p.m.
