Pauline and Hance lived different places, but found their love and passion as shrimpers and fisherman in Indianola, Texas. They spent 33 years in fresh air on the bay. After her husband passed, Pauline continued living down on the bay. She loved to wade fish, walk on the beach and play dominos.
In 1998 Pauline moved to Ceres, California to be closer to family. It was during this time that she welcomed and enjoyed her great and great-great grandkids.
103 years has seen a lot of changes. In 1921, the average house was $6,300. A dozen eggs were 35 cents, and a gallon of gas was 20 cents. "The good old days."
