Luella worked as a cannery worker for 37 years at S & W and Tri Valley. She was a member of the Local Teamsters 748 Union, and had a passion for cooking, family and enjoying the flowers planted by her husband. She enjoyed raising her grandkids and great-grandkids.
She is survived by husband; Charley Garcia; her children Mary, Steve, Stacy, Ethan, Jada Garcia and Stacy Kelley; her dog named “Little Brown Dog”. Her grandchildren; Steven and Richard Garcia, Ryan Schollmeyer, Taylor Johnson, Dereck Staggs, Selena Gwara, Katie and Keegan Kelley and 11 Great grandchildren; sister Mae Smothers of Ok; brother Allen Thomas of Sacramento. A “Celebration of Life” to be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel at 11am, Saturday, February 16, 2019.
