

M. Terry Campbell (née Mary Therese Campbell) was born in Michigan in 1940 to a large family who moved frequently due to civil service relocations. She lived in Hawaii for two years, and graduated from Mineral County High School in Hawthorne Nevada. Terry moved to California in 1959. She lived the remainder of her life in California, primarily in the Modesto area and most recently in Redding.
Terry is survived by her husband Al Williams (Redding) two sisters, Nita Robbins (California) and Cathy Dawson (Texas) and five children: Laurie Jamison (Modesto), William Lee "Bones" Kisner (Modesto), Lynn Warmerdam (Modesto), Kristine Shepherd (Australia), Julie Alvarez (Dixon) and two stepchildren: Kim Lewis (Redding) and Tracy Williams (Redding). Grandchildren include Joshua Warmerdam, August Sargenti, Joshua Shepherd, Lori-Anne Brennan, Mathew Warmerdam, David Alvarez, Jr., Jessica Warmerdam, Jared Shepherd, Paige Kisner, Grace Sheehy and Ryan Kisner, and two step-granddaughters, Ashley and Mariah. Terry had three great grandchildren, Jack, Charlotte "Charlie", and Mason. Terry is predeceased by her parents, Jess and Gertrude Campbell, seven brothers and one sister.
She was a member and past president of Stanislaus County Legal Secretaries Association. She served as Legal Secretarial Training Chairman for Legal Secretaries, Incorporated. She was also a member of the Modesto Rotary. Terry worked for Stanislaus County for many years and was the first Probate Examiner to hold that position. Terry worked at many prominent attorney offices and was well respected throughout the county.
On May 21, 2011, Terry Campbell married her high school classmate, Al Williams, in Hawthorne Nevada. She and Al enjoyed traveling to many areas, including Australia, Sedona, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Illinois, Pennsylvania and New York.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lakewood Memorial in the Riverside Chapel on Sunday June 5, 2016 at 11:00 am. Terry touched many lives and all friends are welcome.
She will be remembered for her love of life and family. And especially for making the best chocolate pies. She was too damn young to die...
