Marietta T. Ford, born in San Francisco, CA to Germano and Josephine L. Perini on September 29, 1937, passed away on January 23, 2013, in Modesto, CA at the age of 75. Marietta was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. Marietta always placed her family first. She was a true San Francisco 49er and Giants fan. She had great joy cheering for her teams.
Marietta was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph A. Ford, her parents Germano and Josephine Perini, her sister Carole J. Sharp, her brother James Perini, and brother in law Tony Bowen and Bill Sharp. Marietta is survived by her children, Steven A. Ford, of Salida, Sherry E. Case, of Modesto, and Daniel J. Ford of Modesto, and sister Anita Bowen, of Daly City. Marietta is survived by her six grandchildren, Adam Ford, Ashley Ford, Ryan Hill, Jesse Sanchez, Alyssa Ford and Stephen Ford, four great-grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. Marietta will truly be missed by all of her family. A Recitation of the Rosary will be said on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. At Golden Gate National Cemetery, 1300 Sneath Lane. San Bruno, CA., 94066.
