I met Marlene about 3 years ago. The first thing I noticed was her childlike faith.... it was beautiful to witness. As I got to know her, share with her and she with me, pray for/with her, I witnessed a woman who loves as we are commanded to love!! It didn't matter what she was walking at any given moment, she took time to love others, encourage others and pray for others. I pray that some day I can love as well as Marlene loved.... as we are called to love. She was a true blessing to me!! I will forever remember this beautiful smile of hers as well as her beautiful heart!! I will miss her immensely!!

You were my soul sister. I cannot believe your gone. Your faith in God was so strong. You were such a fighter In dealing with all your health problems. I know that you are wrapped in Gods loving arms. Free of pain and sadness. I know I have an Angel watching over me. I will never forget how you helped me through Lyndon’s death. I never would of made it without you and Bob. I wish I didn’t live so far away so I could attend your memorial but I will be with you in spirit. You will be part of my heart forever.

We will miss you Marlene in bible study and church. You and Bob always had a big smile and hug for everyone no matter how much pain you were in. You are with the Lord now pain free and receiving all the love you have showed to all blessed enough to have been in your life. I hope to be seeing you again one day.

Marlene, you had a powerful faith that reflected your love and dedication as a servant of God. You always had a joyful smile and a prayer warriors heart. Many times you would call me and share your hearts emotions but you always stayed positive that God was right by your side. You set a great example of how to trust in the Lord. Now you can sit at His side. We will miss you for a time but one day we’ll share a great big hug again. Hallelujah!❤️😘

Grandma, you hold such a special place in our hearts. Our memories with you we will cherish our whole lives. I miss you dearly. You have been a inspiration in my life and life without you will not be the same. I will miss all our events and doing life together! Your voice, advice, smile, phone calls, tears, and laughter! Your faith has made me have more faith. I know you’re in Father’s arms pain free, dancing, singing, and praising. You have been my prayer warrior, encourager, and strength when I’ve needed it most. Thank you for the laughter and the joy you brought to my and my families life. You and Bob both. Words can not even describe your love you had for us and so many others! You have always showed me the love of Christ and taught me how to be unashamed of who God created me to be. Until I see you again grandma! Rest In Peace with Jesus. ❤️xoxo we love you! ❤️

How can I say what's on my heart, Grandma? There is too much to share. You took us in as your own and never denied an ounce of love. You and Bob have been an example to us, and my family is greater for knowing you both. I know that you must be up in heaven celebrating, free from pain, and dancing with the Lord. I pray that you look over us from time to time, and see us putting into practice the faith that you taught us to have. Your life was an example of how to live unashamed of the Gospel, and I can only hope to reach a portion of the people that you reached for Christ. We will be right here with Grandpa Bob, so don't you worry. Give our son a hug for us, and tell him stories about us. We can't wait to see you again!

Love your adopted grandson, David

Mom, I can't believe you're gone. You were a loving Mom and a woman of great faith. Thank you for showing me unconditionally love like our Savior Jesus Christ. I could always go to you when I had a problem and were there to listen and pray with me. I will miss you calling me often, your hugs and being there for me. Mom you were my Rock and Strength. I will miss joking with you. I know you were welcomed into heaven and into the arms of Jesus. I know one day I will see you again. I miss and love you so very much Mom.
Love Your Boo!
