Mary Atwell

Mary was lovingly married for over 60 years and the mother of 2 Sons, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She graduated from Thomas Downey High School and married in 1955.

In the same year, Mary went to work at Martin Optical Service, where she remained until 2003 (48) years. There, she forged countless lifelong relationships and left her indelible mark on all she worked with from the doctors to the office and production workers. If it was broke, Mary could and would make it right!

She was very athletic and outgoing; she loved to water ski, was an avid bowler, and took up golfing later in life, as well as enjoyed her exercise classes on a regular basis.

Raising her two sons was one of her greatest joys, and she rarely missed a game or match. Between all of the sporting events, work, and hobbies, she and Bob loved to sneak off for a little fun—whether it was a trip to Reno, or a night out with their friends.

Mary is survived by her 2 sons Russ and Ron Atwell; her daughter-in-law Laura Atwell; her 5 grandchildren Ryan, Rory and Katherine,

Brandon and Carolina, Karlianne and Lauren; and 1 great-grandchild

Isabella.
