Mary was born to Golden and Seleety Sawyer on July 26, 1946, in San Jose, California. She went to sleep in Jesus on February 18, 2025, in Modesto, California.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Justin LaRoy Moyer; father, Golden LaRoy Sawyer; mother, Seleety Elizabeth Sawyer and brother, Daniel LaRoy Sawyer.
She is survived by her three children - Mary, Walter and Roberta; four sisters – Sarah, Marian, Esther and Martha; two brothers – C.W. and LeeRoy; sister-in- laws – Juanita, and Sharon; brother-in-laws – Leon and Don.
A Celebration Service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 4:00 P.M. at Lakewood Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA in the Heritage Chapel. The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, 10 A.M. at The Gospel Tabernacle, 1401 Service Rd, Ceres, CA.
