Mike Coffee

James Coffee, lovingly known as “Mike,” passed away peacefully at home in Ceres, California, on May 26, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. He was 72 years old. Mike had a deep love for the outdoors—he found joy in camping, fishing, and working with his hands. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Debbie Coffee (Catlett), and his children: Kim Coffee (Gabe), Kandy Dray (Jake), Jeff Coffee.. He was a proud grandfather to Jordan Dray (Kaitlynne) and Tatum George, Tristan Dray, Nolan George, and a loving great-grandfather to Emma Dray and Dominik Castrejon. Mike was preceded in death by Jesse Coffee Bobbie Coffee.

A service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park in the Heritage Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor following services at Howard Prep Witmer Hаll at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Hospice of San Joaquin, whose compassionate care supported Mike and his loved ones during his final days.

Mike’s legacy of love, laughter, and hard work will be remembered always.
