

Minnie German (Chipponeri) Brink was born September 18, 1935 in Payne, AK. She moved to the Ceres/ Modesto area where she raised three sons. She was a beloved wife, mom & waitress who opened and ran the first Sambo’s restaurant in the Modesto area.
She was married to Jim Brink, (preceded in death) for 50 years. They enjoyed a home in Pine Mountain Lake, then Harden Flat as well as a home in Modesto. They were classic car enthusiasts who would travel to car shows often.
Minnie is survived by her sons Andy (Tina) from Hughson, CA, Joe (Sharon) from Dillon MT and Bill (Tari) from Sonora, CA. Her grandchildren Sean, Christopher, Richard, Dustin, Andrew, Bryce & Brianna, Hayden and eight great grandchildren Brody, Jackson, Dylan, Evelyn, Ameilia, Remi, Gwyneth & Stephanie.
Minnie passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022. A Celebration of Life is planned to honor the lives of both Jim & Minnie Saturday, March 26 at The Fruit Yard 7948 Yosemite Blvd Modesto, CA from 12-4 pm at the Pond Area.
Although she will be deeply missed, we find comfort knowing she is in heaven with those we’ve lost before her including her husband Jim, son Randy, and grandsons Sean & Hayden.
