In 1976, she relocated to the United States with her family, where she furthered her education by obtaining a degree in Information Technology. Despite her career successes, Mohinder always prioritized her family, embodying the values of love and dedication.
She was married to Amrik Singh Dosanjh, who passed away in 2010. Mohinder is survived by her three children: Kiran Atwal (spouse: Satnam), Inder Dosanjh (spouse: Valvinder), and Preet Dalziel (spouse: Tom). She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Jessie Dosanjh (spouse: Monica), Jasdeep Atwal (spouse: Gagan), Jasmine Atwal (spouse: Kanwar), Simran Atwal, Amrit Dosanjh (spouse: David), and Miranda Ostwald.
