Myrtle Irene Campbell; born to Harry and Blanche Bronson in Ramona, South Dakota on February 12, 1919. As a teenager Rene' was a social worker at the Pine Ridge Reservation; where she met Geronimo's grandson. In her 20's she worked at Union Pacific at the Proviso Train Yard, writing the car numbers as they rolled past. In 1954 Rene' got a job with the County Welfare Office and stayed there until her retirement in 1974.
Rene' was devout Christian enjoyed attending church, making the best divinity in the world and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her son, Kent (Jeanette) Campbell, granddaughters: Kendra (Eddie) Perez, and Kori (Jaya) Campbell, great-grandchildren: Sophia Perez, Tony Perez, and Rama Campbell.
