Born and raised in Modesto, CA, she attended Davis High, MJC, and earned a B.A. degree at California State University, Stanislaus. She chose teaching as a profession while raising 2 children. Nancy sang in college and church choirs and enjoyed listening to Christian music.
She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Velma Sparks, and son Daniel Sparks. She is survived by her daughter Melissa Sparks, sister Linda (Steven) Jolliff, sister Diane (William) Ronning, brother Alan Sparks, 4 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Thank you to Satellite Dialysis, North Starr Post Acute, and Bristol Hospice for their loving care. She was laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA.
