Nand Lal

Nand Lal of Modesto, passed away on February 8, 2023 at Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by his family at the age of 77. He was born on August 25,1945 in 9miles Nasinu, Fiji Islands to parents Tota Ram and Sama Ram.

Nand Lal was happily married to Kiran Lal for 57 years and together they had 2 children Steven Lal and Kavita Lal.

After migrating to the US, he worked in production for Campbell Soup and Gallo Winery from where he retired. Nand Lal enjoyed cooking for others, especially his family and everyone loved his delicious food. He found great joy in spending time with his family.

Nand Lal is survived by his wife Kiran Lal, Steven Lal (son), Kavita Lal (daughter), Sandra Bidesi Lal(daughter in law), Akash Singh (grandson),Sarah Singh (grand daughter in law) Monisha Singh (granddaughter), Rajan (grandson) and Ra (great grandson).

Nand Lal also leaves behind siblings Moti Lal, Roop Lal, Sonohar Lal, Phul Kumari, Sarojni Kumari and Raj Kumari along with many extended family members who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by both parents Tota and Sama Ram, and brothers Brij Lal and Hira Lal and sister Vina Kumari.

Funeral will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Hughson CA, on February 12th from 10 am - 12pm
