Noé Mireles left us peacefully on August 8, 2019, in Modesto, California, surrounded by his family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Concepción and Antonia De La Torre Mireles, his son Jesús, and his siblings Inocencio, Amelia, and Domitila. He is survived by his wife Paula Gonzalez Mireles, his daughters Janie Othón, Diamantina Cuiriz, Sylvia Mireles, and Patricia Mireles, his sisters Esther, Maria, and Alicia, his brother José, his grandchildren David, Mónica, Richard, Raúl Iván, Sandra, and Jesse, as well as eleven great grandchildren and many cousins. Noé was born in Nuevo León, Mexico on November 22, 1934. He came to Texas and spent decades working as a migrant farm worker all over the United States, before becoming a mechanic at Tri-Valley Growers in Modesto. Noé was a hardworking family man who was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and enjoyed listening to Ramón Ayala. Noé was known for his selflessness and sense of humor. He was loved by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Flowers may be sent to Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, or donations made in his name to Community Hospice or American Cancer Society.
