He graduated from West Hills College, Coalinga, CA. He worked and retired as an operating engineer from Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. He served as Mayor of Hughson, a member of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control Board and on Hughson's Planning Commission. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, gardening and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol of Hughson, CA; daughters, Nancy (Steve) Ramos of Fresno, CA., Susie (Eric) Rauch; grandson, Justin both of Novato, CA.; and sister, Janelle Leslie of La Quinta, CA.
