Pauline (Polly) Andrews was born on April 6, 1926 in Brookline Missouri to James Littlefield Hopper and Martha Shipman Hopper. Polly had 7 siblings. Polly went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, CA with her family by her side.
She enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping, taking trips going for rides, attending church and most of all, being a mom. Polly married Dearl Andrews in 1945 and together they raised 8 children in Waterford, CA.
You rarely saw Polly without one of her beautiful hats. Red was her favorite color and cheetah and leopard where her favorite prints. She enjoyed dressing nice for church and events with her family. Her outfits always included a hat.
Polly is survived by her two sisters, Dora Kelstrom of Colorado and Christine Tipton of Texas. She is also survived by 6 of her 8 children; Linda Andrews of Oregon, Ballery Murry of Waterford, Randy Andrews of Del Puerto Canyon, Susan (Ed) Keene, Amber (Joe) Ryan all of Waterford and Marlin Andrews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dearl Andrews, daughter Pamela Andrews, son Timothy Andrews, grandson Jason Andrews, and her “Sweetie” John Page who came into her life several years after the passing of her husband.
Polly was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren and many nephews and niece.
Viewing will be at Lakewood Funeral home – Riverside Chapel in Hughson, CA on Wednesday July 21, 2021 from 5pm until 8pm. A graveside service will be Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11am at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA.
Due to COVID there will be no gathering after the service.
