Phyllis Ann Caraccilo
February 5, 1946 – September 5, 2019
Phyllis Ann Caraccilo, February 5, 1946 - September 5, 2019 passed away on Thursday, the 5th of September in her Waterford home surrounded by her family. She was born in San Jose CA, on February 5, 1946, to Salvador and Margaret Giannobile who have preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband Charles Caraccilo, whom she married September 1, 1963. Three Children Salvador Caraccilo (Gabriele), Philip Caraccilo (Lisa) and Julieann Hicks (Jason); her 8 grandchildren (Nathan, Morgan, Lanessa, Brittany, Amanda, Sierra, Taylor, and Savanna) as well as her three sisters (Mary Weston, Rosalie Peavey and Kathy Mannina) and three brothers (Joe Giannobile, Sal Giannobile Jr., and Larry Giannobile).
Phyllis graduated from San Jose High School in 1963. She married Charles when she was just 17 years old and soon after they started their family. They lived in the Bay Area until 1991 when they moved to Waterford California. Phyllis worked as a home maker and also worked, in the family owned business Caraccilo Motors for many years. She lived for her family, always doing what she could to help, whether it be for the business or keeping everyone fed and clothed. She was definitely the hub that held it all together.
Her favorite times were those spent with her family. Whether it be camping and jet skiing at the lake, or barbequing around the pool in the summer, this is when she was the happiest. She loved to cook and was known for having plenty of food for everyone. Friends, family and friends that have become family were always welcome, and she made sure that no one left hungry. Holidays were always a treat. You could expect Prime Rib, Beef Burgundy, or Ham and Turkey, enough to feed an army. She especially loved all of her grandkids. She made sure that they were spoiled rotten and “No” was a word seldom spoken to them. Christmas, Easter, and birthdays were over the top. You could bet that the kids were overly spoiled at these times. She also loved her Black Oak trips. Amazingly one of those trips paid off big time when she hit the jackpot of a lifetime.
Phyllis led a full life and was loved by many, she will be sorely missed. Funeral arrangements will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park at 1 PM, Friday September 13, at 900 Santa Fe Avenue Hughson CA,
