Phyllis was a woman with many hobbies and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. For 16 years Phyllis worked as a florist in the central valley providing beautiful flowers and arrangements. Along with being a florist, Phyllis worked in medical billing for 10 years. During her free time Phyllis enjoyed many hobbies, from baking and sewing and crochet to ceramics and reading. Phyllis was an avid piano player, starting at a young age she continued to provide her family with the joy of music. Phyllis enjoyed being outdoors and found great love in camping, visiting the beach or a cabin in the mountains. Phyllis found a great joy spending time with her family. Phyllis is survived by her husband David Nunes, their three daughters and son-in-laws; Cheryl and Louie Lopez, Kim and Steve Santini, Andrea and Dave McElroy. Her grandchildren and their spouses; Andrea and Chuck Rogers, Aaron and Tonya Lopez, Emily Santini, Joseph Santini, Sarah and Michael Manzur, Megan McElroy. Her four great-grandchildren; Audrey, Violet, Nova, and Enzo. As well as her two siblings Marion Holt, and Victoria LaRosa. Phyllis is predeceased in death by her father, Joseph LaRosa, mother Eva LaRosa, and her two sisters; Vennie LaRosa, and Joann Rogers. Phyllis will forever be missed by her family and those who knew her. A funeral service will be held in her honor on May 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Funeral Home in Hughson, CA.
