Ram was born on November 22, 1935, in Bhuiduna, Rewa, Fiji Islands. In 1951, she married Shiu Narayan, and together they built a life centered on love, family, and hard work. In 1973, the couple and their five children immigrated to the United States, settling in Empire, California, which remained her home for the rest of her life.
A hardworking and resilient woman, Ram devoted over 35 years to her work at a local cannery Tri-Valley/Seneca plant 7. She also found great joy in gardening and crocheting, nurturing both plants and people with her gentle hands and heart.
Ram’s greatest pride was her family. Her legacy continues through her four surviving children, 14 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren, all of whom carry forward her warmth, strength, and enduring values.
She is now reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Shiu Narayan, and her cherished son, Pradeep Narayan. Though she is no longer with us, Ram’s memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved her.
